Use These 5 Acne Treatment Tips to Cure Your Acne!

Exercise is a great natural acne cure. It has been documented that stress has a strong correlation with hormone imbalances. Those hormone problems can directly lead to acne. Although exercise is an acne treatment in it's self, one must be careful to make sure they don't fall in to other acne causing tenancies that may come with working out on a daily basis. Things such as they type of clothes you wear, gym hygiene, and exercise equipment can all affect your acne.

1) First off, when choosing workout clothes. stay away from the fashionable but unpractical spandex and other synthetic material. What happens is while working out your sweat has no where to go and builds up on your skin. Body heat also can not escape, and the moist warm environment is perfect for acne causing bacteria. Wear cotton and other easy breathing materials.

As far as gym hygiene also be quick to shower after you exercise, keeping clean is obviously a great natural acne cure! Remove the damn or wet clothing, and wash immediately. Always keep your workout and sports equipment clean. Anything that constantly comes in contact with your skin should be sanitized regularly.

2) The second tip I have for you is to use the right cosmetics. A lot of make-up can clog up your pores and or irritate your skin. As you can imagine these can either cause or aggravate your current acne! Look for products that are oil-free or "noncomodegenic". And for those of you that use shimmering make-up, the substance that gives it it's shine is called mica, and it is very prone to clogging pores. Be sure to shy away from heavy creams, coal and tar derivatives, and carmine coloring.

To go even further, lip gloss' that boasts a glossy finish also have a tenancy to irritate skin. As a general rule of thumb, the "shinier" a product, the worse off it is for your skin.

3) There are studies that say diet is not directly related to acne. But there are experts that can assure you that what is good for your body, is good for your skin. Which bring me to my third natural acne cure. Remember your skin is the largest organ on the human body. Eat healthy foods, drink plenty of water (I can't stress drinking water enough), if you don't already take vitamins and minerals. The average person does not consume the amount of vitamins and minerals her or she needs simply through regular meals.

4) For my fourth tip remember that everything is good in moderation. Well that holds true for hygiene as well. When washing your face, do not use harsh scrubbing techniques or over wash. When you over wash your glands produce more oil than usual to replace what is being constantly washed away. The same hold true for products that contain alcohol. The over production of oil is one of the biggest contributing factors to acne.

When you see acne blemishes starting to arise do not mess or aggravate the area. If you can see the bumps, that means the acne had begun developing under your skin about a week ago! Scratching and pinching pimples can erupt bacterial cavities hidden under your skin, which in turn spread the acne!

5) My fifth and last tip for curing acne points out the benefits of shaving! As the cosmetics section was directed towards females, this paragraph is in general for males. Shaving is a great way to ex foliate and removes dead skin from the surface of your face. Not only does shaving removed dead skin and dirt that can potentially clog pores, it can removes white and black heads. Be cautious not to shave heavily irritated areas of the skin. If you choose to, be very cautious and use a skin calming shaving cream.
