Treat Acne Fast: Is Sweating the Answer?

The case has been made that keeping skin clean is necessary to prevent acne breakouts. The case has also been made that excessive face-cleansing can cause those same breakouts. When attempting to get rid of acne and get rid of acne fast, this can become quite a difficult problem to navigate. How often should you wash your face before it becomes too much? One way to answer this question, and find that perfect balance, is by allowing the body to work through its normal processes.

Many people know that if you start to sweat profusely while exercising that sweat can build up on your skin being rubbed into it by your clothes, or being wiped from your face with your hands - that contain their own oils and bacteria - and that it can lead to acne breakouts. The cause of the breakout is not actually the sweat itself, but the oil and sweat build-up, combined with additional oils and possibly bacteria from your hands when you've used them to wipe the sweat from your face.

Exercising to the point of sweating is good for your skin. The first benefit comes from the exercise itself. Exercise reduces stress. Stress reduction keeps the body's hormones in balance. If hormones are imbalanced the body can respond by producing excess oils through the sebaceous glands, and especially the sebaceous glands of the face.

Therefore, choosing to exercise to maintain a balance of hormones will also maintain a balance in oil production on your face. Aside from this benefit, the sweat that is produced while you are exercising also serves as a kind of flush for the pores on your face. When the sweat is cleaned from your skin properly and not allowed to settle into the skin, or combine with other bacteria, then the sweat pouring from the face's glands take dead skin cells, other bacteria, and excess oils along with it.

One way to treat acne fast is to make an overall move toward a healthy lifestyle. The benefits of exercise will span much farther than just your skin's health. As you begin to see your own skin become clearer you will also feel your body come to life again with renewed endorphins that bring about those good feelings many people look to antidepressants for.

As always, if it is not combined with a cleansing routine, it can become more of a hindrance than a help; but if it is approached with the wisdom of its ingredient in a recipe for clear skin not the quick-fix, then it can certainly be a large contributor to your pursuit of fast acne treatment.
